It is no secret that brunch is taking over New York City. New Yorkers are increasingly dining at an AYCD brunch with unlimited mimosas and bloody mary’s, or a brunch spot with a complimentary cocktail. Reservations are quickly becoming a requirement for brunch. Check out this article from Crain’s New York Business discussing the trend!
Wined and Dined provides a great list of some of NYC’s brunch venues, but they also give us brunchaholics even more details with their nifty map that shows you where you can find the best NYC AYCD or not AYCD Brunch locations from East Village, to the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Soho.
Rockography opens March 21 in the West Village, as a cooler, more hip Hard Rock Cafe. Imagine this: the 16-oz. burger with velveeta cheese, fried egg, pickles and more is the “F.U. Burger” (FU, no substitutions), photos of musicians and from rock will line the walls and the soundtrack is expected to be epic.
But Zagat mentions a Bloody Mary Bar – like my dream come true. The brunch will be epic. New York Magazine claims there will be an endless bellini brunch with a “build your own Benedict” option. Just the rumors are enough to get me there!
Metro NY, the free NYC paper handed to you on your rushed commute to work had a HUGE article about NYC Brunch this morning. And what perfect timing, Friday, the day everyone is frantically trying to get reservations to the hot new brunch spot (unless you’re prepared of course).
