Cheers and welcome to Mimosa Maven! This blog will provide you with reviews of the many brunch spots in NYC. From Brooklyn to Queens and all of the Manhattan neighborhoods, find your how-to-brunch guide here. All reviews will include a ranking of 0 – 5 Mimosas (like stars). This ranking takes service, food, drinks and ambiance into consideration.
Here is a little diddy about me:
I am a workaholic that needs a glass of wine to relax and a good group of girlfriends to keep me company.. particularly to gossip. The demanding days in the office and time spent trying to get the gym leaves my social life limited to Tweets, Facebook Chats, texts and phone calls while in-transit. Clearly, traveling out to Brooklyn or Queens is almost impossible and even exploring Manhattan becomes a chore. In an effort to expand beyond the small radius around my office and apartment… and in an effort to actually chat with my girlfriends face-to-face, we schedule a weekly brunch. We devote this meal to catching up, drinking up and loading up on delicious food and cocktails.
Brunch is not just another one syllable word in NYC. It has become a weekly ritual. A ritual that is sacred among a girl and her girls. This blog will chronicle my reviews of the brunch venues I frequent.. and some new places that I am willing to try so I can let YOU know if it is worth the trip.
But don’t you worry your pretty little head off, I may even “Live Blog” from brunch.. most likely a few mimosas deep.
Hope you enjoy and share your reviews too!

Nice blog! Love the photos and the food shots. I find it really interesting the differences in brunch throughout the country. If you are ever in Milwaukee, let me know. I would love to show you how “Brew City” does brunch!
I would like to submit brunch information to the Mimosa Maven. Is there an email address that I can use? I assure you that I am not a spammer and will not reveal this address to anyone.
Sure thing! Email us at mimosamaven@gmai.com
Doe anyone know of a place that does bottomless mimosas for breakfast? I need a place that does them before 11am. Preferably more in the 8am region? Please and thanks so much!
Typically most restaurants won’t serve booze before 11 am on Saturdays.. but there may be changes soon for Sundays… let us know what you find!
I didn’t actually get to go, but allegedly Lansky’s on 70th has them at 8am!
